He's starting to look much more alert and thus more human-like if you know what I mean. It seems that babies go from a heap of matter with little expression to gregarious smile factories. Or something like that....

Yeah, he's staring to grow out of something I used to call "the boring stage"---in reference to my times taking care of my little brothers when they, too, were unresponsive like that. Sometimes I talk about him becoming "a real boy" like Pinocchio! But he is definately getting there. Now it would be cool if he would start talking to me... ;-)
