Josiah Gets More Shots
So today we went to the pediatrician for Jojo's second round of shots. Four of 'em. Two in each leg. Ouch! Plus, I have to be the one to hold him in my lap and keep his legs from moving while they shoot him up in the thighs. It's pretty sad. Christine gave him baby Tylenol right afterwards and he seems to be recovering alright.
The one thing we're still praying for is that he goes to sleep more often. He hates to sleep! So last night, we were up a lot again. The doctor says it might be because he's teething. So they recommended this Orogel stuff which will help the pain in his gums.
I booked my flight today for next week. The last time I flew alone, I think I came to visit Christine in Sacramento before we were married. So over 5 years ago. It's just an overnight trip, so it shouldn't be too hard on Christine and Jojo. Pray this is a productive trip in terms of securing more monthly financial partners in our work.

Oh man, I feel your pain. So he just is not sleeping? Is there any place he sleeps well? That's tough stuff. Noah is now 19 pounds per doctor visit yesterday. Crazy how time flies!!!

Any place he likes to sleep? Yeah, my shoulder! ;-) Pray for us, esp. Christine. She is worn out the most by this.
He was doing so well at 11 weeks, sleeping from 12AM-6AM. Now, he only does about an hour or two at a time (sometimes it's like 10 minutes here and there).
Wow, Noah's growing fast. Our Jojo is now 13.5 lbs. & about 24 inches.
For example, he's on my shoulder right now!
That is so difficult. I am so sorry to hear that. My heart goes out to you. It is just so hard to not get sleep. I will be praying.
Have you asked the doctor about it at all? Do you let him try to cry it out for 20-30 minutes before picking him up? I wonder if he is teething. It does seem awful young though, but who knows?????
Ryan
Thanks for praying. Letting him cry just makes him madder and harder to console afterward. I don't mind staying up that much, but it really wears on Christine. The doctor did prescribe some medicine to help him sleep, so let's hope that works.
