23 days of 2005

So here we are---almost a month into the new year! What's been going on? Well, my schedule is beginning to fill up with speaking engagements in Los Angeles, San Diego, San Jose, Arizona and very possibly up in Washington state between next week and the end of March. We're praying this next whirlwind tour could bring our support team to completion.

BIG NEWS! A generous organization in the Philippines has nofitied us that they are donating a slightly used van for our use upon arrival later this year! Praise God for this! What an awesome blessing!

The family is doing well. Jojo's sprouted a couple of his teeth recently. They are his bottom two teeth. Christine and I are still pretty tired, awaiting the day when little Josiah will be a bit easier to handle. Teething isn't making life any easier for him, that's for sure.

Me? I'm doing OK. Chugging along on the task of support-raising, but also trying to find time early in the morning before the baby wakes up to have some personal time, time with God and such.

I've also been working on a couple of personal projects: (1) Getting better at lead guitar---learning scales and modes then making up riffs and licks based on them--- and (2) getting better at chess! Yes, I've recently developed a love for the game. Although I am still playing like a beginner. Oh well, there's always more things you can learn. Learning is a challenge! But it is also fun.
